Where to spray: the pulse points that actually matter

Fragrance reacts to warmth. That is why the spots where blood runs close to the skin (the neck, wrists and inner elbows) have long been favoured.
Five places to start
The sides of the neck, behind the ears, the inner wrists, the inner elbows and the centre of the chest. Two sprays in two different places is a better start than four in one.
The habit to drop
Rubbing your wrists together after spraying crushes the top notes and shortens the life of the fragrance. Spray, then let it dry on its own.
Hair and fabric
A light mist held at arm's length over hair or a scarf leaves a soft trail. Test on an inconspicuous patch first, as alcohol can mark silk and some dyes.
